SISU is a small homeware studio in Amsterdam, making cushions from deadstock fabric. We're on a mission to reduce waste in the interiors industry, one cushion at a time.
Deadstock is the surplus of the textile industry, ends of rolls, over-orders, fabrics from discontinued collections. These fabrics are premium quality, entirely finite, and far too often discarded. To us, a roll running out shouldn't mean the end of the line for a beautiful fabric.
SISU buys it from EU-based suppliers and turns it into considered, well-made cushions: feather-filled, concealed zips, sharp corners, finished by hand.
Because every fabric run is limited, every design is too. When a fabric is used up, that cushion won't be remade, which makes every piece one-of-a-kind.
